Description

Blooming is a 2D action and platforming game. You'll need to explore the 4 school zones, defeating the bosses in each of them to free them from the darkness controlling them and gain their power.

You play as Rose, a student at the prestigious Bastion wizardy academy, the largest in the entire world. One day, just like any other, the catastrophe warned by the 5 spirits of the world arrived. "The Heveanly Creator" had returned; the true god of the universe and the one who created the spirits. The Creator had come back to eliminate humans, as he saw them as a potential threat to his reign, especially considering the affection and power they had received from the spirits.

After the attack on Bastion Academy, Rose must explore the remnants, fight, and gain enough power to confront her God.

Features

• Side-scrolling action and platforming: Blooming is a 2D action and platforming game; therefore, you will need to jump, use your dash, and master the mechanics of each level to move efficiently through the stage. 

• Long and short-range combat: Rose has a bow that can shoot normal and charged arrows. This bow is also capable of separating and forming dual blades, which can be used for melee attacks. 

• Elemental arrows: Rose starts with a "neutral" arrow from the beginning of the game until the end; however, by defeating each of the 4 main bosses, you can unlock an arrow for each element (water, fire, earth, and air). 

• Explore each area freely, in any order: The map consists of interconnected zones, and you can move freely between each of them and tackle the challenges in the order you choose.

• Find and challenge optional bosses: These optional bosses require defeating the main boss of their zone and unlocking the elemental arrow; by defeating them, they will provide an upgrade for your arrow.
