At Blooming Minds Education, we believe that every child learns differently. That’s why we create personalised learning plans tailored to each student’s unique strengths, challenges and learning style. Our approach ensures that your child receives targeted support to build confidence and succeed academically.
Families are provided with three options for how sessions can be structured:
Homework and Assessment Support: The student brings schoolwork or upcoming assessments to each session for targeted assistance and reinforcement.
Curriculum-Aligned Lesson Plans: We develop lesson plans based on the unit overview or learning materials provided by the school or teacher.
Diagnostic Assessment and Targeted Learning: A diagnostic assessment is used to identify a student’s current understanding, strengths and areas for development. The results help the tutor and lead teacher design a personalised learning plan that targets specific skill gaps and builds confidence in key areas.
Additional Information Form
In addition to the diagnostic exam, each family completes an "About Me" questionnaire. This is typically completed by the parent but older students are encouraged to fill it out themselves. The questionnaire helps us gain a deeper understanding of how your child learns best, their interests and any challenges they face. Knowing what motivates your child allows us to personalise their learning experience even further, ensuring they feel supported and engaged.

Based on your chosen session structure and the "About Me" questionnaire, we develop a personalised learning plan tailored to your child’s specific needs. This plan outlines the progression of learning and lessons over a term period, including key focus areas, learning goals, and strategies to build confidence and understanding.
We understand that learning needs can change, so our plans are flexible. Our tutors regularly assess progress and adjust the plan as needed to ensure your child stays on track and continues to grow.
