In the Frommer's Travel Guide, states that it as the Golden Gate Bridge as "possibly the most stunning, and certainly the most photographed, bridge anywhere in the world." When it was first debut in 1937, it was both the longest and tallest suspended bridge on the planet, with a length of 4200 feet, and an overall elevation of 746 feet.
