The ancient theatre had a diameter of 107 metres (351 ft) and could hold around 10,000 spectators. It is one of the oldest theatres in Magna Graeca to have curved cavea, rather than the older trapezoidal design. The cavea were divided into nine sections. On either side of the skene was a basilica.[2] Today, the theatre is used as a venue for the annual arts festival Taormina Arte.[3]
Despite the vast spread of the archipelago, it covers a total land area of only about 885 km2 (345 sq mi). The climate is a warm tropical one, without sharply distinct seasons. The average annual temperature is a relatively continuous 26 °C (79 °F). Water sources such as lakes or rivers are absent, leaving catchments of rain as the only source of fresh water.
El Chaltén is a small mountain village in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. It is located on the riverside of Rio de las Vueltas, within the Los Glaciares National Park (section Reserva Nacional Zona Viedma) near the base of Cerro Torre and Cerro Fitz Roy spires, both popular for climbing. It is 220 km north of El Calafate. It is also a popular base for hiking numerous trails, such as those to the base of surrounding peaks and glacial lakes, such as Laguna Torre and Laguna de los Tres (near the base of Fitz Roy).
The High Tatras or High Tatra Mountains (Slovak: Vysoké Tatry; Polish: Tatry Wysokie; Rusyn: Высокі Татри, Vysoki Tatry; Hungarian: Magas-Tátra; German: Hohe Tatra; French: Hautes Tatras), are a mountain range along the border of northern Slovakia in the Prešov Region, and southern Poland in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. They are a range of the Tatra Mountains chain.
Local legend has it that a big bully of a troll was about to wreak havoc on a coastal monastery, but as the dawn broke he was petrified into stone by the rising sun’s rays. The result is this nearly 50-foot-tall hulk of basalt rock just off the shore of Iceland’s Vatnsnes peninsula.

Lauterbrunnen is a village and a municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. The latter comprises the other villages of Wengen, Mürren, Gimmelwald, Stechelberg, and Isenfluh, and several other hamlets. The population of the village of Lauterbrunnen is less than that of Wengen, but larger than that of the others.
