When I was a child I always loved animals and art. I have been coloring since I could hold a pencil. I remember being in middle school disappointed that I couldn’t have art class every day. I found myself looking forward to the one day a week we had art. When I got to high school that was the first elective I signed up for, and the rest is history. I learned to draw things realistically and really blossomed and explored what I could do with this talent I had been given. Here we are years later, I have occasionally shown people the artwork I have done in the past which has led to them commissioning me to do portraits of their pets.
Today I live with my husband, our two fur babies, and our little fish tank. I work a part-time job and have decided to launch this small business on the side, to continue my passion. B. Long Creations is my way of sharing my love for animals by creating keepsakes of the pets we all hold so dear.
I never knew that I’d come this far. Most of my artwork focuses on things that I love, whether that’s horses, dogs, or the people who mean the most to me. Thank you to all of my family and friends who have pushed me to be here and to finally launch this business. A special shout out to my high school art teacher, Mrs. Valleries, for all the patience and knowledge that you shared with me, and to Mr. Kosmiski for helping me navigate this whole website thing. You both are much more than a teacher to so many of your students. I wouldn’t be here without all of you.
