A little about me...
Growing up in Spokane's Hillyard/Bemiss area, I was a child who learned early on to navigate the delicate balance of visibility and humility. In a time when children were expected to be seen and not heard, I found myself in the public eye, thanks to my parents who were deeply rooted in the community. They owned a local business and were fervently dedicated to civic involvement, volunteering tirelessly to uplift our neighborhood. Their passion for community service was infectious, and they ensured I was not just witness to their endeavors but an active participant, instilling in me a profound sense of responsibility and ambition.
From a young age, I understood the pressure to excel and contribute meaningfully, and I embraced it wholeheartedly. When opportunities arose, I seized them, knowing they were stepping stones to my ultimate goal of owning a business. I began by offering my time and talents to those who recognized my potential. I became a silent partner to a local artist and coordinator, learning invaluable lessons and honing my skills across more than 100 events before revealing my true passion for event planning. My journey continued as an ambassador for various companies across different industries, participating in over 250 events, where I thrived in the dynamic and vibrant atmosphere that event management offered.
Fast forward to my thirties, I knew it was time to step into the forefront and make my vision a reality. I founded Blondie Does LLC, a venture that embodies my lifelong dedication to creating memorable experiences. My business is an extension of me, driven by a commitment to excellence and a desire to transform visions into reality. We offer comprehensive consulting services to understand our clients' needs and coordinate events with precision, from weddings to corporate events. Our offerings are digitally documented, providing clients with cherished memories to relive. I've also initiated annual events like the renowned ChalkArtWalk, now in its 27th year (2025), along with other community-centric celebrations.
Whether it's creating vendor markets or organizing holiday festivities, my goal is to make Spokane a destination of choice. At Blondie Does, we are passionate about crafting experiences that resonate and leave lasting impressions. I invite you to explore my website, designed personally, and discover how we can bring your dreams to life. Whether through my services or a referral to someone better suited, I am here to serve and make waves in the world of event planning.
