Hi there! My name’s Arthur, and I’m a football enthusiast with a passion for sharing the stories, moments, and magic of the beautiful game.
I’m currently studying an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science at University of Brighton. While it’s not directly focused on journalism, writing has been my calling for as long as I can remember. From a young age in primary school, I was scribbling match reports, compiling game stats and facts, and sharing my thoughts on the action I’d seen.
As a proud Arsenal fan and season ticket holder, I spend countless weekends at the Emirates, but my love for football stretches far beyond North London. I follow leagues across Europe, delve into the charm of English non-league football, and cheer on the Three Lions as a member of the England Supporters Travel Club. I even had the incredible experience of following England to both Euro finals in London 202(1) and Berlin 2024.
A personal highlight was being approached by Camilla Tominey at The Telegraph to contribute insights for the England vs Spain Euro Final in Berlin. My work was featured in The Telegraph’s ‘Daily T’ podcast—a moment that cemented my ambition to make a mark in football media.
Friends and family have always joked about my “jamminess” when it comes to meeting football stars, but I see those chance encounters as stories waiting to be told. Whether it’s analyzing tactics, reporting on grassroots football, atmosphere or celebrating iconic moments, I’m here to share my love of football with you.
Thanks for stopping by - I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing!
