About Our Product

Our company, Blocking Blu was created in 2023. We decided to create a blue light blocking light bulb to provide customers with a solution to healthier eyes and sleep.

The Problem

Blue light is something that is very prevalent in this day and age. What many people do not know is that blue light has negative side effects on the body.

What does it do?

Blue light inhibits melatonin production which will lead to poor sleep and an imbalance in circadian rhythm. The light will gradually damage your retinas over time according to many eye doctors, as well as irritate your eyes.

Our Solution

We have created light bulbs with a lower amount of blue light that emit a warmer tone. This is to help offset the negative effects of blue light. Our product will decrease eye damage and increase regular sleeping patterns.

The Science

Our light bulb features a surface coating that aims to filter out blue light. This coating gives the light bulb a warmer tone and protects against blue light rays.
