THE SHORT VERSION
Blockfounder keeps your valley on your phone and nowhere else. There is no account, no login, no server and no cloud. Deleting the app deletes everything it knows about you.
Blockfounder also has a second game in it, called the fields. You play it against your own phone. Nothing about it leaves your phone either. See section 1b.
Blockfounder can show you two reminders a day, at seven in the morning and at nine in the evening, on your own phone. They are written by the app on your phone and sent from nowhere — no server sees it, and it says something about the picture you yourself made. Your phone switches it off: Android asks your permission before the first one, and a long press on the notification turns it off at any time. See section 1a.
The one thing that leaves your phone is the advert. Blockfounder shows one full-screen advert each time you finish a valley — thirty-four times in the whole game — one each time you open the app, one when you choose to leave a picture and go back to the gallery without finishing it, one when a game of the fields ends, and one if you leave a game of the fields you have not finished. Never more than one advert every two minutes, and never after the board has been swept. That advert is served by Google AdMob, and Google's advertising software collects some information from your phone in order to show it. That is the only data this app is involved in, and everything below describes it.
1. WHAT BLOCKFOUNDER ITSELF COLLECTS
Nothing.
The game is one file that runs on your phone. It has no network code of its own. It does not know your name, your email address, your phone number, your contacts, your photos, your location, or your age. It never asks you for any of them, because there is no screen in the app where you could type anything.
Everything the game remembers — which valleys you have opened, what has grown in each one, where the pieces are on the board, and the game of the fields you have on the table — is written to one storage entry on your own device. It is never sent anywhere. It is not backed up to us, because there is no "us" to back it up to.
If Android's own automatic backup is switched on for your phone, Android may copy that storage entry to your personal Google Drive account, as it does for many apps. That is a feature of Android and of your Google account, not of this app; we never see it and cannot read it. You can turn Android backup off in your phone's settings.
1a. THE DAILY REMINDER
Blockfounder can show you two notifications a day, at seven in the morning and at nine in the evening, in your own time zone. They exist so the valley you are building is easy to come back to.
Nothing about it leaves your phone, and nothing about you is used to write it.
There is no server, no push service and no account. The app asks Android to show a notification, and Android shows it. Nobody is told that it was shown, and nobody is told whether you opened it.
What it says is written from the file already on your phone — the name of the place you were last building, a thing standing in it, or that a game of fields is still on the table. It is never an advert and never a message from us.
It is two notifications and never more. They are replaced each time you close the app, never stacked up.
Android will ask you once whether Blockfounder may send notifications, and it will not ask at the first screen — only after you have made something of your own in the app. If you say no, nothing is scheduled and the app works exactly as before.
To switch it off: the switch is your phone's own, and Blockfounder cannot take it away. Long-press the notification and choose "turn off notifications", or go to Settings > Apps > Blockfounder > Notifications. You can also simply say no when Android asks whether Blockfounder may send notifications — the app never asks a second time. Whichever you use, Blockfounder reads your phone's answer every time it starts and schedules nothing from then on.
Because Android is being asked to show something, the app declares three permissions to your phone: permission to post a notification, permission to know the phone was restarted (so a reminder you have already agreed to survives switching the phone off and on), and permission to wake the screen briefly when it appears. None of them sends anything anywhere.
1b. THE SECOND GAME — THE FIELDS
Blockfounder contains a second game. Two players take turns drawing one line at a time between dots, and whoever closes a patch of ground owns all of it.
The other player is your own phone. There is no online play, no matchmaking, no other person, no chat and no way to send or receive anything. The opponent is a piece of arithmetic running inside the app, and it is written from the board in front of you and nothing else.
Nothing about it leaves your phone. The game you have on the table is kept in the same single storage entry described in section 1, so you can come back to it, and it goes when the app goes.
You are asked for no name, no nickname and no sign-in to play it.
An advert is shown when a game of the fields ends, and if you leave a game you have not finished. Those two are described in section 2 with the others.
2. WHAT THE ADVERT COLLECTS
Blockfounder uses Google AdMob to show one advert when you finish a valley, one each time you open the app, one when you choose to leave a picture without finishing it, one when a game of the fields ends, and one if you leave a game of the fields you have not finished.
Google's Mobile Ads software, running inside the app, automatically collects and transmits the following to Google when an advert is requested:
Device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID — to select and measure adverts, and to detect fraud.
IP address — to work out roughly which country or region you are in, so the advert is relevant and legal there.
App interaction, meaning that an advert was requested, shown or closed — advertising and analytics.
Diagnostic information, meaning how the app and the advertising software performed — to find crashes and slowness.
Google is the controller of that information once it has it. What Google does with it is described in Google's own privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy and, for advertising specifically, at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Google states that all data collected by the Mobile Ads software is encrypted in transit using TLS.
Blockfounder asks for one advert as it opens, every time you open it — the first time included — one more when you are close to finishing a picture, and one more when a game of the fields is coming to an end. That is all. There is nothing else in this app that reaches the internet.
3. YOUR CHOICES
The advertising ID is yours and you control it. On your phone: Settings, then Privacy, then Ads, where you can reset the advertising ID or delete it entirely. Deleting it stops it being used to personalise adverts, and Blockfounder carries on working exactly as before.
In Europe, the UK and Switzerland, the first time an advert would be shown, Blockfounder shows you Google's consent message instead of that advert and asks you first. If you say no, you are not asked again and no advert is ever requested. You lose nothing in the game by refusing: the game has no shop, no currency and no rewards, so an advert never gives you anything and refusing one never takes anything away.
The daily reminder is switched off on your phone, not in the app. Android asks your permission before the first one is ever shown, and saying no is final — Blockfounder does not ask again. If you said yes and change your mind, long-press the notification and choose "turn off notifications", or use Settings > Apps > Blockfounder > Notifications. Blockfounder checks your phone's answer every time it starts, so switching it off stops it for good.
To remove everything: uninstall the app. Your valleys live in the app's own storage, so removing the app removes them. There is nothing left on any server, because nothing was ever put on one.
4. CHILDREN
Blockfounder is not directed at children and its target audience on Google Play is declared as 13 and over. It contains no chat, no user-generated content, no links out and no purchases. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you believe a child has been shown a personalised advert in this app, reset or delete the advertising ID as described above and contact us; there is nothing stored on our side to erase, because we store nothing.
5. PURCHASES
There are none. Blockfounder is free, has no shop, no coins, no subscription and no in-app purchase of any kind. It never asks for a payment method.
6. SHARING AND SELLING
We do not sell, rent or share your information, because we do not have any. The advertising information described in section 2 goes from your phone to Google and to nobody else.
7. CHANGES
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the new version replaces this one at the same address. A change that affects what the app collects will not be applied to a version of the app already on your phone without an update.
8. WHO TO CONTACT
ridad1727@gmail.com
Write in any language. There is no account to look up, so please say what you would like done.
Blockfounder draws nothing and downloads nothing: every tree, roof, window, hill, bird and sound in it is computed on your own phone as you play. There are no images, no audio files, no fonts and no external addresses in the app.

Two paragraphs were changed on 2026-08-31 (F-513, B-137): the one
in THE SHORT VERSION, and the one in section 2 about first
sessions. What they said until then, kept here and not deleted:
> The one thing that leaves your phone is the advert. Blockfounder
> shows one full-screen advert each time you finish a valley —
> thirty-four times in the whole game — and it may show one when you
> choose to leave a picture and go back to the gallery. Never more

> session, and never after the board has been swept.
> None of this happens in your first session. If you install
> Blockfounder, play it, and never open it again, the app makes no
> network request of any kind, ever.
>
> From the second time you open it, Blockfounder asks for one advert
> as it opens, and one more when you are close to finishing a
> picture.
He asked for the advert at the app's opening to be shown EVERY TIME
the app opens, and a brand-new player opening the app is one of those
times. The app was changed and this text was changed in the same unit
— a policy that understates what an app collects gets the listing
removed, not rejected.
THIS TEXT IS NOT THE PUBLISHED ONE YET. The policy live at
https://sites.google.com/view/blockfounder/accueil is older still and
disagrees with the app in more places than this one (O-887).
----------------------------------------------------------------
AND FIVE PLACES WERE CHANGED ON 2026-09-01 FOR VERSION 8 (B-154),
because version 8 is the first release that carries THE FIELDS.
What they said until then, kept here and not deleted:
> Blockfounder keeps your valley on your phone and nowhere else.
> There is no account, no login, no server and no cloud. Deleting
> the app deletes everything it knows about you.
> [no second-game paragraph followed it]

Section 1b is new and replaces nothing.
THE REASON, AND IT IS F-506's FAMILY. src/main.ts calls
fieldsAdvert() at TWO call sites this policy did not describe: when
a match ends (the frame, after FIELDS.pop) and when the player
leaves a match they have not finished (leaveFields). A policy that
understates what an app does gets the listing removed, not
rejected — which is the sentence written above this block on
2026-08-31, one release earlier, about the same mistake.
