Block Drop is a falling-blocks puzzle game. This policy explains, in plain terms, what data is and isn't collected when you play — and what Google's advertising service collects on our behalf to show ads.
Block Drop does not require an account, a login, or a profile. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information, and we do not operate any servers that store player data.
The only data handling involved falls into two categories, covered below: information kept on your device, and information Google's AdMob service collects to display ads.
Your best score is saved locally on your device using Android's standard app storage. It is never transmitted anywhere, never linked to an identity, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings.
Nothing here leaves your phone. High scores, current game state, and settings all live only in the app's local storage.
Block Drop shows a banner ad, served by Google AdMob. To select and measure ads, AdMob's software development kit (SDK) — running on your device, not on a server we control — may collect:
Category Examples
Device identifiers Advertising ID, device model, OS version
Approximate location Derived from IP address, not GPS
Ad interaction Impressions, clicks, time an ad was viewed
App info App version, language, connection type
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us — we never see or store it ourselves. It's governed by Google's Privacy Policy and, specifically for ads, how Google uses information from partner sites and apps.
You can limit how ads are personalized directly from your device:
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → turn on Opt out of Ads Personalization, or tap Delete advertising ID on Android 12+.
You can also review or reset your advertising ID at any time from the same menu.
Turning off personalization doesn't stop ads from showing — it just makes them less tailored to your activity.
Block Drop is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details below and we'll address it.
Because we don't operate servers or accounts for Block Drop, there's no central database of player data for us to secure. Data handled by Google AdMob is protected under Google's own security practices, described in the policies linked above.
If this policy changes — for example, if we add a new feature that handles data differently — we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Block Drop after a change means you accept the update.
Questions about this policy or how Block Drop handles data can be sent directly to the developer.
