The paradigm shift of blockchain is causing more people to become comfortable with decentralization, therefore it could possibly be a problem in the future once more people are using the blockchain. According to Greg King's chart above, Bitcoin, one of the earliest crypto-token adopters of blockchain technology, has 70% of growth left on its S curve currently. This correlates with the blockchains paradigm shift, it still has not happened, yet it is beginning to happen. According to Don Tapscott "...described how blockchain is creating a paradigm shift toward decentralization, and that many of the effects will cause problems that must be solved, including the imminent obsolescence of popular jobs today, such as truck driver or cashier. How will society find ways to keep people occupied in meaningful work?"(Lau & Tapscott 2021). This is a viable issue, yet I feel that my solution could help prevent people from losing jobs. The main purpose of my regulatory committee is to oversee blockchain usage and cryptocurrency valuations, yet it could possibly help maintain careers or possibly even create careers. For example, the use of blockchain provokes technical analysis, therefore you must be fluent in order to use blockchain technology for data. In the future, my organization could be directed towards teaching people about blockchain in a more simple way as well as equipping people with jobs as blockchain analysts or users.
All in all, the goal is to create a more regulated and accepted environment for the blockchain and cryptocurrency markets. Blockchain itself is an extremely interesting technology that I believe there is more for the world to learn about, this can only be done through investing time and money into researching this technology further. My goal is to advocate for blockchain technology's benefits as well as raise awareness for it's possible financial consequences. In conclusion, I hope there would be a more regulated and fair environment for blockchain technology in the future and I plan to be a pioneer for this technology as a lawyer and financial expert.
