Title: Blockchain based Internet of Things (B-IoT):Opportunities, Challenges and Solutions
Publisher: CRC Press Taylor & Francis Group
Book Publication: 2023
Publisher: CRC Press Taylor & Francis Group
Book Publication: 2023
B-IoT is developing rapidly. Combining IoT and Blockchain provides firms with a real- time picture of how existing systems function, delivering data on everything from performance to supply chain and automating decision making and logistical capabilities. The Internet of Things is utilized by businesses to digitize operations and save money on labor. We are seeking to find the counter measures of the security vulnerabilities of IoT through Blockchain in this book. The proposal further seeks to target the convergence challenges, use cases and applications of the B-IoT systems. This book will provide a comprehensive overview of B-IoT and will delve deeply into its many facets, from its structural design to its potential future research areas. This book will be extremely helpful to students and research scholars willing to explore cryptography, Network Security protocols and Blockchain. In addition, the purpose of the book is to examine the role of blockchain with IoT and AI in agriculture and healthcare systems as well as other use cases based on a survey of the relevant literature. In agriculture and healthcare, the integration of blockchain with IoT and AI plays a vital role in managing food supply chains, medicine supply chains, product traceability, smart contracts, product monitoring, inclusiveness, and smart prediction. Though Blockchain-based IoT systems face certain challenges like scalability and convergence. Researchers across multiple domains are trying to reduce the challenges and propose more relevant solutions to make convergence stronger and effective.
