BlockAscend ("the App") is developed and maintained by Criplo Gaming Studio.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

Short version:

BlockAscend does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

All data stays on your device.

01. Information We Collect

BlockAscend does not collect any personally identifiable information.

The only data stored by the App is saved locally on your device using Android/iOS shared preferences:

High scores per difficulty level

In-progress saved game state

Last played difficulty level

Music on/off preference

Total games played and total blocks stacked (local stats)

This data exists solely on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

02. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

Name or email

Location data

Device identifiers

IP addresses

Usage analytics

Crash reports

Camera or microphone access

Contacts

Payment information

03. Third-Party Services

BlockAscend uses the following third-party Flutter packages. These libraries run entirely on-device and do not transmit any data:

shared_preferences — local key-value storage for game data and preferences

audioplayers — plays background music from a bundled asset file

webview_flutter — renders this privacy policy from a local HTML asset

google_fonts — loads font files; may contact Google servers to download fonts if not cached

The App does not integrate any advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or social login services.

04. App Permissions

BlockAscend requests only the minimal permissions required to function:

Internet — required by webview_flutter and optional font downloads only; no user data is sent

Audio — to play background music from a bundled asset

No sensitive permissions (camera, contacts, location, microphone, storage access) are requested.

05. Children's Privacy

BlockAscend is a family-friendly arcade game suitable for all ages.

Because we do not collect any personal information from any user, the App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).

06. Data Retention & Deletion

All game data (scores, preferences, saved state) is stored locally on your device using your operating system's app storage.

You can delete this data at any time by:

Clearing the App's cache/data in your device Settings

Uninstalling BlockAscend from your device

We have no ability to access or recover this data on your behalf.

07. Security

Because no data leaves your device, the security of your game data is managed by your device's operating system.

We recommend keeping your device OS up to date for the best protection.

08. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of the App.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
