In light of recent events, I've noticed that a majority of the information and news that I've been reading was supplied to me through social media. The sharing of information through sites such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. are generally spread faster and tend to be more truthful since they aren't censored or manipulated by news corporations. However, I'm aware that not everyone has a social media page or has the expertise to efficiently navigate on social media sites, which has lead to misinformation or no information at all. Therefore, I've created a brief compilation of important resources I believe everyone should have access to.
These resources were designed to be easily shared digitally (email, text, etc.) or to be printed out and posted as flyers.

I am writing to you in concern of the current civil rights disparity that is affecting America. As I am sure you know, racial oppression and systemic racism has recently reached its breaking point and the citizens of this nation can no longer remain silent and passive towards these injustices. Black Lives Matter is a battle that has been fought over centuries and the biggest opportunity we have to generate change is right now. I am aware that not everyone has the same degree of information, resources, or mobility. Therefore, I have compiled a collection of important actions one can take to be an active ally and contributor towards this cause. It is not enough to just acknowledge these events on the news in passing nor is it acceptable to be neutral. We must actively support and fight for change.
Regardless of the extent of aid you can provide at this moment, I hope that you can accomplish at least one item listed on the attached PDF. At the very least, I urge you to share this form with your own family, peers, or colleagues. Silence will only perpetuate this injustice. Any form of action benefits the movement.
