My name is Melissa, and I am the founder of Blind Move Charlotte. I am a licensed real estate broker and an apartment locator, who also maintains a full-time job in the communications & marketing industry. I know that I have a lot going on, but I love it all! I have plenty of experience being the new girl in town, and I can relate to the nervousness that comes with relocating to a new city. Throughout my life, I have moved up and down the East Coast, transitioning from New York to Missouri to Massachusetts to Georgia, and then to Virginia. However, for the last 15 years, I have happily called North Carolina home. Charlotte is by far my favorite place to live; and at this point, I consider myself a true-blue Charlottean. I graduated high school and college here (Go Niners!). And I have built my career and my home here. Through all of this, I've been able to watch my city grow from a small town where everybody knows your name to the diverse, thriving metropolis it is now.

I love Charlotte, and it is my heart to have my clients fall in love too. Its beauty lives in its multiplicity: it has all the elements and trends of a modern, vibrant metropolitan city with the charm and hospitality of a small Southern town. Charlotte feels like a breath of fresh air, and it is a great place to build a great life and pursue a big dream.
