IBPS South Bay Subchapter, BLIA Los Angeles Chapter

國際佛光會洛杉磯協會南灣二分會，隸屬於佛光山西來寺，是佛光山於南加州地區的重要分會之一。
IBPS South Bay Subchapter, under Hsi Lai Temple, is one of the key branches of Fo Guang Shan in Southern California.

自成立以來，南灣二分會致力於推動人間佛教，積極將佛法融入日常生活。目前，在輔導法師知宥法師的帶領與指導下，持續舉辦各類修持佛法與社會公益活動，服務當地社群。
Since its establishment, the South Bay Subchapter has been dedicated to promoting Humanistic Buddhism and integrating the Dharma into daily life. Currently, under the guidance and leadership of supervising Dharma teacher Venerable Zhirou, the subchapter continues to organize various Buddhist services and community outreach activities to serve the local community. 

南灣二分會秉持著佛光會「以文化弘揚佛法、以教育培養人才、以慈善福利社會、以共修淨化人心」的宗旨，廣泛推動多元活動，包括讀書會，英文 Dharma Evening，周末健走，社區關懷及義工服務，致力於提升社會大眾的精神生活品質。
Upholding the BLIA principles—“Promote Buddhism through culture, nurture talents through education, benefit society through charity, and purify minds through practice”—the South Bay Subchapter offers diverse programs such as Dharma Evenings, weekend walking groups, community care, and volunteer service, all aimed at enriching people’s spiritual lives.

南灣坐山靠海，風景優美，二分會善用這片得天獨厚的自然環境，積極帶領會員在 Palos Verdes 燈塔公園、海邊綠地、圖書館等地舉辦佛法交流與學習活動，讓學佛更貼近生活，增進彼此聯誼與成長。
Nestled between mountains and ocean, South Bay enjoys a naturally beautiful environment. The subchapter utilizes this setting by leading members in Buddhist study and fellowship at locations such as the Palos Verdes Lighthouse Park, seaside green spaces, and public libraries—making Buddhist practice accessible and enriching.

分會並積極參與洛杉磯地區的各項公益行動，包括環保淨灘、會員探訪、食物捐贈等，實踐佛教的慈悲利他精神。
The subchapter also actively engages in local charitable activities such as beach cleanups, member visits, and food donations, putting the Buddhist spirit of compassion and altruism into action.

作為佛光會的一員，南灣二分會秉承星雲大師「有佛法，就有辦法」的信念，推動「有太陽的地方就有佛光會」的願景，讓佛光普照社區每一個角落，照亮每一個需要關懷與溫暖的心靈。
As a member of BLIA, the South Bay Subchapter follows Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s belief that “where there is Dharma, there is a way,” and promotes the vision of “wherever the sun shines, there is BLIA,” bringing light and care to every corner of the community.
