The target audience for Bleuvie is the students, faculty, and groups of Iowa State University. However, Bleuvie is in no way related to or associated with Iowa State University and was developed completely independent of Iowa State University.

One can register on the Sign Up page of the app. To register for Bleuvie, one must possess an (iastate.edu) email domain. During registration an email verification link is sent to a new user to verify their ownership of that email address. One cannot complete the sign up process without verifying their entered email

Users have the ability to report any posts, comments, and users. To send a report, a user would select the question mark in a circle at the bottom right of a post or comment. This leads to a new page with some information and a report button. Once a users presses this button an email template appears with Bleuvie's email as the to address. A user can report any concerns of theirs to our team and we will review the report promptly. Immediate action would then be taken if so needed.

To block an abusive user, you can go that abusive users' profile page and select the ellipsis in the top right corner of the page. This brings you to a page with a Block User button. You can select this button to block this user. If you change your mind and wish to unblock someone just revisit that same page and select Unblock User. A block acts both ways to protect users and only the user who initiated a block has the power to remove it.

Bleuvie is confident in its ability to respond to reports within 24 hours. All reports are sent via email and our Bleuvie team will receive a notification for every report. This will ensure all reports are addressed promptly. Upon receiving a user's report our Bleuvie team would review the report to determine if action is needed. All reports will be stored for record keeping. For extra security, a user is limited to one account per email.
