Blended Learning
What is Blended Learning?
Blended Learning has been around for awhile now and has been through a variety of definitions and permutations. Even here at the Archdiocese, the way Blended Learning has been implemented varies across regions and even within schools. This is O.K. because at the heart of BL is the core idea that direct teacher instruction combined with purposeful technological integration can personalize instruction to remediate and extend each and every learner! Because that definition is so broad, teachers have the ability to personalize their BL implementation to meet the needs of their own students and school communities.
Check out this brief introductory video that outlines a generic overview of what Blended Learning is, what it is not, and what we have as a vision for the future of our classrooms.
