Bleich Home Inspection Services offers complete Home Inspections starting at $325. Home Inspections are completed according to the Indiana Standards of Competent Performance for Licensed Home Inspectors.
Compare our price with our competitors and you will find we are the best price in the Fort Wayne area.
1. Incentives. Other Home Inspectors inflate their price and then offer incentives including coupons, gift cards, short term warranties, and "free" ancillary services. All of these have a cost factor that affect the price of their services.
2. Overhead. Some larger Home Inspection companies rent office space, employ office staff and incur other costs such as utilities and employer provided benefits. We are a small family owned business with a home office and very little overhead.
3. Employed Home Inspectors. Some Home Inspectors are employees and are paid as little as 30% of the inspection fee from their employer. In some cases the inspector's cut is less than $100 per inspection, giving them little to no incentive to perform a thorough evaluation of your home.
4. Perceived Value. Some inspectors will incorporate a perceived value to justify their fee. This could include delaying the report for a day or two; or spending 4-6 hours at the property preparing an onsite report. Some will even raise their price to give the perception of a better value. In economics, price is what you pay, value is what you get.
5. Supply and Demand. It also just comes down to basic economics; supply and demand. There are a high number (supply) of home inspectors in the 6 county greater Fort Wayne area and a low supply of homes available creating a low demand for home inspections. The high supply of home inspectors and the low demand for home inspections should drive the price down, not up.
