Bleep Fitness is a shuttle / bleep fitness test timer for iPhone. Athlete profiles and test results stay on your device. We do not require an account and we do not run a Bleep Fitness server that collects your workout history.
Depending on how you use the app, Bleep Fitness may store on your iPhone: • Athlete profile details you enter (for example name, age, sex, sport)
• Test results (distance, level, shuttles, duration, dates, optional estimated VO₂)
• App settings (sound, haptics, voice, units, Health sync preference)
This information is stored locally using on-device storage (such as SwiftData / UserDefaults). It is not uploaded to our servers because we do not operate an account/cloud backend for this app.
If you enable Apple Health sync, Bleep Fitness may: • Read heart rate during a shuttle test (for example from Apple Watch via Health)
• Save a workout and related heart rate samples to Apple Health when a test finishes
Health access is optional. iOS will ask for your permission. You can change Health permissions in iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices. We do not receive your Health data on our own servers.
If you use AR Measure, the camera is used on your device with ARKit to help measure and mark a 15 m or 20 m court. Camera frames are processed on device for that feature. We do not upload your camera feed to our servers.
Any estimated VO₂ shown in the app is calculated on device from your shuttle result and is labelled as an estimate. It is not a laboratory measurement and is not medical advice.
The current version of Bleep Fitness does not use App Tracking Transparency tracking and does not include third-party advertising analytics SDKs.
We do not sell your personal information. Because workout/profile data stays on your device (unless you choose to share a result yourself, for example via the iOS share sheet), we do not disclose that data to third parties from our servers.
If you contact us by email, we will use your email address only to respond to your request.
Bleep Fitness is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit personal information for children where local law requires parental consent you cannot provide.
Because data is stored on your device, you control it. You can delete athletes/results in the app (including delete-all in Settings, where available) or by deleting the app. Uninstalling removes the app’s local data from that device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
