Ichigo Kurosaki and his allies — Rukia, Orihime, Uryu, Chad, and Renji — form the heart of Bleach. Each brings unique strengths: from Ichigo’s hybrid powers to Rukia’s Soul Reaper skill, Orihime’s healing, Uryu’s precision, Chad’s raw strength, and Renji’s fiery spirit. Together, they face powerful enemies and grow into a united force protecting both worlds.

The Gotei 13 is the main military force of the Soul Society, composed of thirteen squads led by powerful Soul Reaper captains. Tasked with maintaining balance between the worlds of the living and the dead, they protect souls and purify Hollows. Each squad has its own specialty and structure, but all are bound by duty, honor, and a fierce commitment to justice—even when their methods differ. 

Quincy are humans manipulating Reishi to destroy Hollows, unlike Shinigami who purify them. This difference caused a long conflict, resulting in the Soul Society decimating most Quincy to maintain balance. 

Arrancar are evolved Hollows who have removed their masks and gained Soul Reaper-like powers. Intelligent, powerful, and often brutal, they serve under former Soul Reaper captain Sōsuke Aizen. Each Arrancar retains aspects of their Hollow nature but gains a Zanpakuto that releases their full destructive form. They are the chaotic fusion of two worlds—soul and monster—driven by instinct, ambition, and a will to evolve.
