To ensure compliance with our newly adopted large vessel permit process (for boats 16 ft or more) please complete the following steps to obtain your 2025 Babcock Lake large vessel boat permit/sticker.
The deadline for submitting is July 1
1. Register your boat on New York State DMV website. https://dmv.ny.gov/registration/register-boat
2. Obtain your boater safety certificate. This is a one time certification which is good for life.

3. Complete Babcock Lake large vessel application.
4. Obtain both liability and property insurance on boat, adding Babcock Lake Estates,Inc. as additional insured.
5. Mail or hand-deliver documents 1, 2 and 3 above including a $50 permit fee (Checks payable to: Babcock Lake Estates Inc.) to Mike Longo 132 North Shore Rd. Petersburgh, NY 12138.
