Disreputable Dismissal 

Praise undeserving people, is satire in disguise— quote from Alexander Pope, after a long run of the alleged filing of a case against Secretary Francisco Duque III he was dismissed. What about the compensation he must pay if the superior himself will release him? It is very amusing.

If the government doesn't like corruption, why was Duque the health secretary back then? And when it was proven that he had bribed, he violated Republic Act 3019 or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act he was still allowed to go free. It is very clear in this society that the thirst for money will prevail over the thirst for service for the people.

Why in the movies are the ones with a clear conscience prevailing but in the government, whoever is the thief is the one who is more powerful and abusive. Maybe because life isn't a movie, right?

Embezzlement was done while the country was ravaged by COVID and the people were confused because there was nothing to eat. Where is the conscience? Nothing but in the 47 billion pesos pocketed by Duque and Lao.

I empathize with Filipinos, wishing they could eat every day, wishing to be showered with even a little help, even a grain of rice from the sectors that should be feeding us. Well, the one who is satisfied with the upliftment is those who walk without even half a grain of rice left for you, scrap it scrap.
