Our mission
Blank Label is a natural wine company looking to partner with small family farms across the United States. Blank Label is trying to promote the natural wine quality that can be attained by sourcing grapes from small home-grown vineyards. You may be asking what natural wine is and I feel as if google's definition is probably best at explaining that. Natural wine refers to a generalized movement among winemakers for the production of wine using simple or traditional methods. Natural wine is usually produced without the use of pesticides and with few or no additives.
Due to the traditional fashion of making natural wine, you are able to create funky and exciting flavors. Blank Label hopes to connect with small family farm owners, and potentially grow grapes on their land. We plan on fermenting the wine in various ways such as in a terracotta vessel like the Greeks. The idea would be to find family farms that have unused land that they do not plan on cultivating. Partnering with them to allow us to grow our grapes on their land. The farm owners will have an opportunity to be involved in the growing or just let us use their land and have no other involvement.
