Painting has always been my deepest passion, a love that began in my youth. I started by entering school art competitions, where I often lose, but that never discouraged me. I embraced each loss as an opportunity to learn and grow—this was my way of evolving as an artist.
The challenges became greater when I entered college at UST, but my drive never wavered. I found myself competing against brilliant artists from other universities, such as Raffy Napay, Randalf Dilla, Ronald Jeresano, and Anton Mallari.
Though I didn’t win every competition, the victories I did achieve felt like milestones on a path of growth, each one a testament to my dedication and the journey that shaped me.

I began my career at Underground Logic, a post-production house specializing in TV commercials. I had always dreamed of seeing my work on television, and that dream came true, making the experience incredibly fulfilling. My goal was to learn and grow, so I embraced every opportunity to explore new skills. I took on roles as a matte painter, 3D artist, and concept artist. During my five years there, I was proud to be part of a team that won five Agency of the Year awards. It was an incredible journey, and I truly enjoyed every moment.
Next, I ventured into the world of advertising, with Dentsu being my first agency. In my very first year, my team and I won several international awards. One of our most remarkable achievements was creating a massive plastic sculpture that earned us a Gold Cannes Lion, one of the most prestigious awards in the industry. The win was completely unexpected, and I feel incredibly blessed to have been part of such a talented and dedicated team.
My awards paved the way for my career in advertising, opening doors to opportunities with agencies both local and international. It’s been an incredible journey—one that has shaped me into a more creative thinker and taught me to approach challenges from unique perspectives. I’m deeply grateful to the people who supported and guided me along the way. Today, I am proud to serve as the Head of Art (Creative Director) at McCann Worldgroup.
