The "Spring Into Spring" Middle School Party is happening this Friday April 26 7-9pm at Roudenbush! Please click here for details to sign up your student, or to volunteer!

Please keep an eye out for the flyer coming home with your students regarding the upcoming Teacher & Staff Appreciation Lunch, we need your help to make it happen! Donations are being accepted through Friday May 3, 2024, your support is sincerely appreciated!

RECENT PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS
Blanchard Outdoor Seating Renovation
The Blanchard outdoor seating area received an upgrade of 5 new picnic tables and chairs with umbrellas! Blanchard Students can enjoy their outdoor time even more with this comfy spot located just outside of the Blanchard Cafeteria.
This project would have been possible without support from friends like you!
6th Grade Spring Program
New Inca Son visited Blanchard’s 6th graders on March 11th, bringing the music, culture and the arts of the Andes. The energy in the auditorium was wonderful! Support of this program is funded through the Blanchard PTO by you! Thank you for your support in making programs like this possible for the Blanchard students!
6th Grade Fall Program
Renowned author Jack Gantos visited 6th graders on Monday, October 16th to discuss the creative writing process. The kids were inspired as this Newberry award winning author of over 60 children's and young adult books shared his tips and tricks for being a great writer. 6th graders asked questions until we ran out of time, and were completely engaged.
This program was made possible for supporters of the PTO, and we THANK YOU for your support!
7th Grade Fall Program
Egyptologist Paulette Morin is at Blanchard this week teaching the 7th graders about Ancient Egypt with her renowned program Pyramids and Pharaohs! This Blanchard favorite is interactive and engaging, solidifying the unit on Egypt recently completed in 7th Grade Social Studies classes.
8th Grade Fall Program
Scientist Allison Robinson from the Discovery Museum visited the 8th grade science classes to highlight physical changes of matter! The students are had fun with hands-on experiments with sublimation, condensation, heat conductivity and more! Thank you to the volunteers helping to ensure the students can safely participate, thank you to those who are donating to our PTO so that we can fund these enrichment programs, and a very special thank you to our presenter Allison Robinson for generously waiving her presenter fees, allowing the program to be possible at Blanchard. We appreciate all of you!
