About Blanca

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Business Administration (specializing in Management) at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, in Spain. I have spent the last year 2021-2022 at NYU Stern School of Business in New York, working on one of the articles of my dissertation.

Built upon strong foundations in quantitative methods and organization theory, my research focuses on stigma, stigma transfer and the related specific topics including the interaction of stigma and status in changing environments. The fundamental problem that motivates my research interests are social movements and how stigmatizing events can affect organizations, products and individuals. I use both quantitative and qualitative methods.
