Every week, 1 student from each class is chosen to be the library star of the week. At the end of each month, I draw one name out of a jar from the students who earned library star of the week. That student is named the library star of the month and receives a prize. To earn library star of the week, students must exhibit stellar behavior during library time. I look for students who are polite and respectful and use inside voices, listen, answer questions, follow directions and help others.

Battle of the books has been canceled for the 2020-2021 school year due to covid-19.
