Bronya can be incredibly versatile depending on your playstyle, resources, or mere preference. Each and every one of the builds mentioned here has different Pros and Cons, so it’s hard if not impossible to label one of them as “the best” build for Bronya. We won’t point out any stat besides SPD for simplification.
“Slowya” is used to define a Bronya whose SPD is unusually slow, with the purpose of making Blade act twice in a row. This is possible by making Bronya just slightly slower than Blade, and focusing on building Blade with decent SPD on his own.
Recommended SPD Values:
Bronya - 134 SPD
Blade - 135 SPD
It doesn’t matter If your Blade has 136 or 137 SPD, the strategy will still work. However stopping at 135 is recommended as you will waste less SPD stats and invest them in damage.
Cycle Order:
Blade > Bronya (E) > Blade
Giving Blade higher SPD will naturally result in him having lower HP and, as he also acts twice every time, he’ll suffer from twice the self-damage. This makes him way less bulky than he would be otherwise. For this reason using an HP% orb and/or using a more potent healer like Luocha may be best when pairing him with Slowya.
”Fastya” has the same goal as Slowya, but with a different approach. Fastya wants to start her cycle with a Basic Attack, gaining Advance Forward from her Talent, and regain her turn immediately before Blade’s turn. This requires a different speedtuning compared to Slowya.
Example of Recommended SPD Values:
Blade - 97 SPD
Bronya - 148 SPD
It is not necessary to exactly match the exact numbers above (although this range would be the most efficient) as much as making sure that your Bronya has around 150% of Blade’s SPD, which would be needed for Fastya to work correctly. This means that Bronya will be SP Neutral, allowing the rest of your team to be less strict on SP usage. Also, Bronya will be a partial Sub-DPS.
Cycle Order:
Bronya (Basic) > Blade > Bronya (E) > Blade
As Blade does not need to invest in SPD when paired with Fastya, he can invest more stats into HP for a tankier build, which will lessen his healing needs and allow for the use of more support oriented healers such as Lynx.
”Hyperspeed” focuses on making Bronya as fast as possible, using her skill on Blade every single turn to boost him. This requires high SPD investment on her, and may require to farm for a long time depending on your luck. We consider this an “endgame” build and may prove difficult to follow if you’re at a low level.
Recommended SPD Values:
Blade - 97 SPD
Bronya - 161+ SPD
The more SPD the better. With this build your Blade will virtually have the same SPD as Bronya while being built Full DPS, basically making him a stat monster. There are some specific breakpoints for that, your goal is to obtain as many actions as possible on Bronya, you can follow this simplified list.
Extra Actions per Cycle:
156 - 0, 2, 3, 5
161 - 0, 1, 3, 5, 6
174 - 0, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6
187 - 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
This build offers mid SP consumption between the two builds explained above, and mid damage before the 174 threshold.
Cycle Order:
Bronya (E) > Blade > Bronya (E) > Blade > (Repeat)
Same as explained with Fastya previously, Blade’s focus on HP when paired with a Hyperspeed Bronya will allow him to use more support oriented healers that may not have the highest sustain capabilities but offer extra useful buffs.
”Hyperslowya” is a hybrid build between Slowya and Hyperspeed, combining the two together and acting as a Slowya build with Hyperspeed SPD. It requires Bronya’s E2 to work out, it is mandatory so this won’t be possible without it. Bronya’s Signature LC is also highly recommended.
Recommended SPD Values:
Blade - 133+ SPD
Bronya - 161 SPD
Bronya’s E2 gives her Skill 30% SPD to the target ally’s after they (the target) takes action. This is calculated after the target’s base SPD, not total SPD. This will make Blade’s SPD reach 162+ (+29 SPD), making him act immediately before Bronya, hence acting as a Slowya build, but faster. Just be sure to speedtune them correctly.
This will result in even more SP consumption compared to Slowya, even if by just a bit, but also more DPS overall.
Cycle order:
Bronya (E)
Blade > Bronya (E) > Blade > (Repeat)
Like in the Slowya build, it is recommended to pair Blade with a strong healer for proper sustain.
