Mallory Sciaraffa

Owner & Head Trainer

Mallory has dedicated her life to horses, and it shows. A lifelong equestrian with an unshakable passion for training and young horse development, Mallory knew from an early age that her future was in the saddle. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Stephens College, she went on to train at the prestigious Indian Creek Farm, where she sharpened her skills and built a reputation for excellence in the Morgan horse world. Her career is decorated with numerous World Championship titles, and she has competed professionally in all disciplines. Her proudest accomplishment is building a family at Blackwelder Farms from the ground up. Nestled in Harrah, Oklahoma, the farm is now home to Mallory, her husband Giovanni, their beloved animals, and a talented team of horses and humans. Every day, she gets to live her dream: training, riding, and sharing her love for horses with the next generation.

Loren Moser

Academy Instructor

Loren has been riding horses for over 20 years! In that time, she trained at Cottonwood Creek Ranch, where she and her horse, Torchy, achieved a World Championship back in 2013. She then took a break from showing horses to show sheep in the FFA before eventually following her passion back to the horse world. She obtained a bachelor's in early childhood education and a master's in educational technology, both at Oklahoma State. Before joining the BWF team, she was the Academy Instructor at Laine Brook Farm in Yukon, OK. When she isn't at the barn, you'll find her in her school library in OKCPS. Her background with education and horses alike makes her an awesome fit to teach even the youngest of kiddos and the oldest beginners! Holler at her if you'd like to schedule your first lesson!
