Mr. Griggs started Black Raven in 2021 with his family in Houston, Texas. Inspired by his wife's Caribbean heritage, he fell in love with sorrel's unique and refreshing taste. With the passing of his beloved mother-in-law, the original sorrel expert, Stacy was determined to keep the family tradition of sorrel during the holidays alive and quickly became a sorrel enthusiast. Each batch he prepares packs flavor, the nutrients of ginger and hibiscus, and care from our family to yours.
