The "First Rosa" shares remarkable history of Dr. Rosa J. Young as a pioneer Lutheran educator and missionary. Known as the 'Mother of Black Lutheranism in Central Alabama,' Dr. Young was instrumental in planting several historically black Lutheran schools and chapels in the American South.
The LCMS ANM equips congregations to reach out to people from every nation, language, and ethnicity and encourage them to share mercy care and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Information for congregations, schools, and various organizations are listed in the ANM directory.
