The Cottage

The Retreat is situated on a quiet suburban block, immediately opposite an urban forest and convenient to both town amenities and the attractions of the Blue Mountains National Park. It is a comfortable older style weatherboard cottage.

Facilities

The cottage facilities include:

beds to accommodate up to 15 people in 4 bedrooms and a sunroom
kitchen with electric stove, cooking utensils & refrigerator
2 bathrooms and 2 toilets (one outside). One bathroom with shower and toilet, one with shower/bath
TV (free to air) and range of DVDs available
Please, no BBQs or fires at the cottage - a great park (click Local Attractions above) is only a short walk away

What to bring...

You will need to bring your own sheets or sleeping bags, towels, pillowslips and warm clothing for outside if it is cold.

Utensils, crockery and cutlery are supplied but you need to supply your own food.

There is a small electric stove, microwave, jug, toaster and electric frypan.

There are shops in Blackheath to buy food when you get there (and a number of take-away food outlets).
