The objective of the Blackhawk Band Boosters is to support the band in cooperation with the band directors and school authorities.

Every parent/guardian of a student in the band is a member of the Boosters.

THE KEY TO A CHILD'S SUCCESS IS POSITIVE INVOLVEMENT OF ADULTS WHO LOVE THEM.
Our purpose is to support the band and the band staff in any way that we can with:
- our time and energy, (volunteer by chairing or serving on the many committees)
- our own talents and skills, (cooking, sewing, painting, maintenance of equipment or trailer, art work, prop building, pit crew, etc.)
- financially (helping to defray the extras cost of fielding a first class band and major trips)
- actively supporting and cheering the Blackhawk Cougar Pride Marching Band in the stands at football games and the band competitions
The Blackhawk Indoor Percussion Ensemble took First Place in their respective class on Saturday, March 30th at Norwin High School in the Three Rivers Winter Ensemble Association (TRWEA). Their show entitled "Puppet Master" had a final score for the season of 82.85! Congratulations on your hard work and dedication to the music program at Blackhawk.
