Heather and Leia

I adopted a rescue dog with lots of spunk and looked for a knowledgeable trainer and found just that. Jo is amazing with my girl who has a wild streak and has helped mold the wild child into a much happier pup, who has improved 1000% since we started training. I’ve been around dogs and training for 10+ years but this rescue made me think outside of the box and Jo has met every challenge I’ve given her and Leia as well. She’s an endless source of ideas and resources to help build the bond between my pup and me, as well as how to adapt and adjust to my girl. She has been a huge influence in making me push to be a better dog owner. She’s also so flexible with scheduling and always willing to tackle a problem we are having and working through them. We will continue training and better our communication and skills.

I am so thankful for finding Monochrome Canines. We rescued our border collie pit mix pup Auggie at 9 weeks old and brought him home and wanted to start obedience training right away. We wanted him to have a good start in ourhome and needed help his his puppy behaviors such as biting, biting and chasing and impulse control. In just the first few weeks with Monochrome Canines Auggie was already learning and thriving.

My 10 year old daughter and I were fortunate enough to meet Jo at a volunteer 4H meeting she was leading. We immediately exchanged information, and Jo became a mentor to my daughter. She has helped her learn all she knows about training dogs and has helped her every step of the way with her vizsla/lab puppy. We continue to work with her and are so thankful for her expertise and friendship!
