The BGDT attends 3 competitions each year. Typically, we attend 1 away-competition in Fredericton, NB, and 2 home-competitions in Halifax. 

Our away-comp, the Atlantic Collegiate Dance Competition (ACDC), is hosted by the UNB Reds. At ACDC, university dance teams across the Maritime provinces come together and compete! It is a super fun team-bonding experience. Our team takes a coach bus there and back, and dancers will need to book off the entire day. As we compete on a gym floor in that venue, unfortunately our tap routines cannot compete at ACDC. However, we do open the trip up to our tap dancers as well to come and support the team!

In Halifax, we typically compete at Limelight Dance Competition and View Dance Challenge. All of our routines compete at these two competitions! Dancers are required to book off these dates as soon as they are released. Call-times and schedules will be released to dancers closer to our competition dates. 

Dancers are also required to pay competition fees, which will vary between each person depending on the number of routines you are in.
