I use the timer when giving a lecture, to see how much time I have left. But the screen goes dim after a while and I have to touch it again and enter my unlock code to see it every so often. Is there any convenient way (without permanently disabling unlock code) to make it keep showing the timer and not black out the screen?

The TRTSB Thermorail Timer is a digital touch screen timer ideal for controlling Thermorail Heated Towel Rails. The timer allows you to set a schedule for exactly when your heated towel rail is operating and how long it is on for.

With the TRTSB Thermorail Timer, you have the ability to program each day individually or 7 days the same or program weekdays to one schedule and weekends different. This timer has 4 switching times (2on/2off) per day and is simple to program with large easy to read characters. The sleek black glass face fits perfectly into the interior of any bathroom.

The advantage of a timer is that you can simply set and forget whilst experiencing a warm dry towel every time you use the bathroom. It also ensures that the rail is never left on in the bathroom therefore it helps you to reduce running costs.

Can I wire multiple rails to one timer?

Yes, absolutely, you can connect more than one heated towel rail to a single timer. There are just a few things to consider; Firstly, you cannot exceed the 16 amp load rating of this timer and, secondly, all the rails wired to one timer will be on at the same time, they cannot be set on individual schedules. The addition of a timer makes your life simple and rewarding with warm towels everyday and wiring multiple rails to one timer allows you to achieve this result easily and beautifully.

Can I control multiple rails independently from the one controller?

Although it is perfectly safe to wire more than one rail to the one timer, and many clients choose to do so where they have multiple rails in one room, it is important to note that you cannot control these rails on independent schedules from the one timer. As our Thermorail timers are all simply on/off timing devices, they will switch the whole load that is wired in, meaning all rails will turn on/off at the same time. Should you wish to control multiple rails independently, you will need to have these wired to individual timers or switches.

Can Thermorail timers be used for other products?

As our Thermorail timers are all simply on/off timing devices with a 240volt output, they can be used to control any 240volt towel rail, appliance or lights. If you are considering using a Thermorail timer for another product, always ensure you do not exceed the amperage load of the timer and bear in mind that this can only be used to switch the load on or off as desired and cannot be used to control it in any other way, such as adjusting temperature or dimming the light.

Can I use a Thermorail timer for Low Voltage Heated Towel Rails?

Yes, sure you can! Whilst our Low Voltage Towel Rails are 12volt units and the timers have a 240volt output, a transformer is required for these rails anyway so the Towel Rail can simply be wired into the 12volt side of the transformer, then the 240volt side of the transformer wired into the timer. The timer then switches the transformer, rather than the rail itself, which effectively turns the Towel Rail on or off as set on the timer.

In a quickplay game during a fight I was the first on my team to die. As I was waiting to respawn, I was looking at the scoreboard, and I saw my respawn timer reset multiple times. My team all eventually died, and all of our timers kept resetting on the scoreboard, and we all respawned together. As I said in my title, it took me 25 seconds to respawn after my death. I also recall seeing a black screen at some moment (but I was definitely still in the game and hearing sound effects).

I had this happen in two seperate games tonight, and I had the exact same glitch. I was 2 seconds from respawning, my team all died, heard team kill, then got a black screen for about 10 seconds, then my timer reset to 5 seconds AFTER waiting 10 seconds on a black screen. It is something related to team kills and respawning as a group, but it is definitely a bug.

I had this issue happen as well, although my total spawn time was about 14-15 seconds. I initially attributed it to being tied to a potential team wipe scenario (as my entire team was wiped around when I had 6ish left to spawn).

it happened to me i thought i was tripping for a sec, like the timer just refresh insted of spawning me and the other dps/healer. point was 60% by the time we respawn it was at 92% lmfaooo. there was a black screen i thought my graphics card gave up on me.

I am stumped trying to create a visual countdown timer for participants. I have a task in which participants have 7 seconds to respond and I want them to easily how much time they have. I want one solid bar to move from the far right of the top of the screen to the far left of the top of the screen, proportional to the length of the countdown.

Hello!

This is my first Arduino project, and my first post on this forum. I'm having a lot of fun learning about Arduino and happy with the progress I've made on my own, but I'm at a place where I think I need help. I would welcome feedback on how to make my question more clear to this group, if needed!

Because I'm still learning about how to make things with Arduino, the project lives as a mashup between two existing projects. I took the example project from the TFT_HX8357 library (TFT_Print_Test) and inserted what I believed to be the important portions of code from this Laser Lap Timer project that I found on Gadgetronicx >> [Lap timer for slot cars using Laser and Arduino] Note: because I'm a new user, I'm only allowed to post two links, so I'm unable to link the project here. However it is the first thing that comes up when doing a Google Search for the words in BOLD.

The code that I've hobbled together is posted below. I'm sure that there may be a more efficient way to achieve what I'm looking for and would welcome feedback on that as well. Currently, as stated before, it's kind of a mish-mash between two existing projects that I've found.

I was able to figure this out after trying several things. I'm starting to understand more about how the loop works. I can see now how in my original code having this in the main loop caused that issue.:

I am still working to learn more about how to use millis to display Minute:sec:Milli.

The closest I've gotten is in the "Current Lap" portion of the screen, and it currently looks like this (seen also is the fillRect solution as I am using it):

I do have some further general questions about the code and moments where it could be structured more efficiently, however I will post those questions in a different thread as they are not really related to the Display any longer.

To re-enable this, click at the top right of your Zoom client and then click Settings. From there, under the General tab you'll see the toggle to Show my meeting duration. Toggle that and you'll be able to see your meeting timer again.

The Zoom timer app is not loading after a meeting has started. When I click on the app and select the timer option, I see a black screen. I am using a MacBook Pro. I am able to launch the app outside of the meeting window, but it doesn't work properly within the meeting.

Me too... Tried everything including removing the timer app, deleting zoom, reinstalling both ... It's super annoying because the alternative timer by "Blue Sky" apps requires a ridiculous subscription fee just to use a timer for longer meetings (which we do). Ugh.
