Before ordering a commission, please make sure you've read the following as it contains crucial information regarding the ordering and creative process. These terms may be changed at any time, but will not affect valid quotes or ongoing commissions accepted before they were changed.
This goes without saying, but please be respectful when communicating with me. I have no obligation to continue business with you if I consider you rude or otherwise difficult to deal with.
Make sure you're clear in your communications and in any reference material you provide to minimize any potential misunderstandings.
Above all else, understand that I am dealing with a great amount of personal and mental health issues that can make work difficult. Response times may be staggered and progress on your commission may be slow. If I do not respond or provide an update after a few weeks, you're free to reach out to me again—if I need to put your commission on hold at the whims of my aforementioned issues, I'll let you know.
I'm much more casual during regular conversation and only adopt a business email tone for the sake of clarity—do remember that this is a business transaction, however. I will only accept correspondence regarding your commission.
All art is drawn in the digital medium.
My offers in the pricing tab are representative of how I prefer to draw, but my full gallery features a wider variety of styles and techniques that you might be interested in. If something else catches your eye, feel free to ask me about it—just be aware that I may not necessarily feel comfortable drawing that way as some pieces are experimental.
All prices are subject to change for any given reason. This will not affect valid quotes and ongoing commissions.
All prices represent an average base range without considering extra characters or detailed backgrounds. Your final quotation may be much higher or lower depending on the complexity of your image and the projected time and effort it would take.
Extra characters are not discounted. Every additional character is an additional sum of the image's base price (before other factors such as complexity are taken into account).
REGARDING WHAT I WILL AND WON'T DRAW...
I'm most comfortable with (and most enjoy) humans, humanoids, creatures, monsters, and demons. I love darker and edgier subject matter and designs, and give the best results when asked to work with them.
I enjoy robots and mecha, but am not very comfortable with actually drawing them on account of their complexity. I cannot guarantee I will want to take on your project idea, and if I do, there's a strong possibility that the final quotation will be much steeper than average.
Will draw tabletop characters (with context provided as I am not a tabletop player); fandom is a case-by-case basis and I may not be comfortable with certain media.
I'm less comfortable and experienced with architecture and vehicles, aircraft, mechanisms, and the like. This is also case-by-case and complex projects will likely be rejected.
Anthro may be case-by-case, but is usually accepted.
I am open to artistic nudity/sexual themes, gore, and NSFW. However, heavy gore will need to be discussed as will pornographic content; I will not draw extremely graphic depictions of gore and certain explicit fetish art is also a hard no for me. Please note that you must be 18+ to order a commission with any of the aforementioned heavy content from me.
It goes without saying that if you ask for any of the above with a minor as the subject, not only will I refuse you I will block you.
Soliciting me for illicit feral art will result in the same response.
COMPLEXITY REFERS TO...
Overall density and level of detail (number of characters present in the image, environmental setpieces, background detail, realism, textures, etc.)
Character design (clothing, anatomy, patterns, whether they're human/humanoid/beastlike/mechanical/etc.)
Composition (posing, lighting, setting, perspective, etc.)
Subjects I'm unfamiliar/uncomfortable with (elaborate mechanical designs, architecture, etc.)
All of this will be taken into account based on what feels complex for me personally to calculate your final quote.
My availability is listed on my Tumblr, as well in the Status & Order section of my commission information. Make sure to check that I'm open first before inquiring about an order, as I will not accept submissions outside of my availability periods and I do not take reservations.
Use my commission order form to place your order.
Provide as much detail as possible when filling out the form! This includes specifications on style, mood, composition, setting, character posing and how to convey their personalities, and anything else that you consider vital to the piece. You're also free to send a rough sketch of your idea if necessary—I like to have the clearest possible idea of what I'm doing to minimize on-the-fly improvisation. That being said, you may request I take artistic liberties.
My typical canvas size is standard A4 300dpi (portrait and landscape), or 3000x3000 300dpi. This is for general reference, and the canvas size and resolution can be changed.
I reserve the right to refuse your commission for any reason, and I am not obligated to state why.
Commissions are not necessarily "first come, first serve"—if I have a lot of orders at once, I'm free to pick and choose what I work on at any given time.
I will not work under a deadline. If it's very important, please discuss it with me beforehand—I will let you know if the timeframe is workable for me. If not, I will have to decline.
As mentioned in the Status & Order section, due to ongoing personal issues my partner's Paypal is temporarily being shared with me and all transactions will be made by them on my behalf until circumstances have changed.
Payment is made up-front. I will not start work until this is fulfilled.
Once I confirm your order and we've agreed on your quotation, you're free to send payment to our (my partner and I's) Paypal.
Quotations are non-negotiable after they have been agreed upon unless specified otherwise. Your final cost—whether higher or lower than expected—will reflect the quality of the artwork you receive.
Any changes to my base prices made after this time will not affect your quotation, and you do not need to compensate me for the difference.
We do not accept payment through any other means at this time.
Payments are generally made in USD. If you need to figure out your currency's equivalent in USD and vice versa, search "[currency] to USD" or "USD to [currency]" in Google.
You do not need to compensate us for additional Paypal fees.
You may cancel the commission and request a refund at any time. This amount is based on progress already made with your commission. If you've already paid and I am yet to start work on your commission, you'll receive 100% of the original price—otherwise, it can be anywhere between 25-90% of the original cost depending on stage of completion.
I reserve the right to cancel your commission at any time if...
Your communication is poor
Your behavior is rude or inappropriate
I cannot complete your commission for any reason
If I personally cancel your commission, I will issue a full refund regardless of stage of completion. If you would like to keep a WIP, then refund costs will be issued based on the progress made.
Ensure that you are responsive during our correspondence period. If I cannot reach you by DM or email for 2 weeks, I'll attempt to solicit you again—if I receive no communication for 2 months, I will cancel the commission and issue an appropriate refund.
As stated in section IV.2, I will only begin work on your commission once payment has been made.
If requested, then I will periodically send you WIPs when appropriate—this is your opportunity to let me know what to change, if anything, especially during the initial sketch stage.
I do not typically make major alterations to a work that would significantly increase my time spent on it, either before or after completion. I prefer to minimize extra time spent on a single image to maintain a healthy workflow.
Although I try to make good time on commissions, I take frequent breaks to work on personal projects and be kind to myself. Please be patient and respectful of my time.
It is up to you to decide whether you would like WIPs to be shown to others or kept private until completion, and if you would like me to post the completed work on my social media.
Once completed, you will receive two images: the full-resolution original artwork with my signature for personal use, and a lower-resolution watermarked version for online sharing.
Make sure to save your art once sent! I cannot guarantee it will always be readily available online or on hand.
Do not remove my signature or watermark from the image.
Remember to credit me as the original artist if you share your art online!
You may crop, resize, and apply artistic filters to my work—more specific edits, however, will require permission.
Please do not use my work commercially unless agreed upon beforehand.
