Assembling the Hull Pieces
Dry-fit the pieces
I generally recommend always test-fitting the pieces to make sure everything aligns, before coating things in glue.
Prep the joining surfaces for gluing
Roughening up the facing surfaces provides more surface area for the glue to adhere. Rub coarse sand paper over the facing surfaces.
Glue and bolt the sections together
Spread glue (I used E6000 Black) over the entire face of one of the hull pieces
-- shown here is the bow section right before gluing the section behind it
Press the pieces together, working bolts through the holes to make sure the pieces are aligned correctly.
As you tighten the bolts, make sure the nuts recede fully into the shaped indention on the other side. With E6000, the excess adhesive that squeezes out at the seam will dry rather quickly, and can easily be removed by rubbing your thumb back-and-forth over the seam.
The end result will be a fully-sealed joint with a neat seam like shown at left.
Repeat again for the two stern sections
