I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Liberal Arts, IIT Jodhpur. Prior to this, I served in various organisations, including IIM Shillong, IIE Guwahati, NIRD&PR (NERC), ASRLM, and PRADAN. I have led ten research projects funded by agencies such as ICSSR, NHRC, NABARD, NEDFi, among others. My scholarly work has been published in journals including Area Development and Policy, Development in Practice, Sociological Bulletin, and Local Development and Society. I am an accredited International Peace Fellow, recognised by SAP, MGM University, Gujarat Vidyapeeth, and the Sabarmati Ashram Trust. A creative writer in Assamese, I have published over 100 poems and short stories and have authored two books on Assamese theatre. I am actively engaged in theatre as an actor and director and have participated in five theatre workshops and six international theatre festivals. I was felicitated by the Assam Sahitya Sabha in 2020 for my contributions to Assamese literature and theatre, and in 2024 I received the Social Service Award from the Dispur Press Club for my contributions to rural development.
