School history

Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar Collegiate Institute Panchagarh was founded in 1990 after the name of renowned politician Barrister Muhammad Jamiruddin Sircar, a Supreme court lawyer. Barrister Muhammad Jamiruddin Sircar is the founder of this Institute. He donated the land to establish the Institution. Local Elites also worked hard to establish this Institution with the assistance of the founder. It is secondary level co-educational school including Science, Arts and Commerce. There are 400 students from grade 6 to 10 studying in this school now, and 15 teachers, 7 employees working here. It is a one shift school from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.
