About me:
I am an applied economist working on family and labor economics, with a particular focus on Japan. My research examines how social norms shape decisions within households - how couples divide work and money, and how parenthood changes the allocation of resources within the family.
I submitted my PhD thesis at Trier University in 2026. I studied at Hitotsubashi University and Sophia University and was a scholarship recipient at the German Institute for Japanese Studies (DIJ) in Tokyo. I speak German, English and Japanese.
