Benjamin Jauregui

Personal information

Hi! I am Benjamin Jauregui, a second-year PhD student at University of Chile. Previously I studied Applied Maths and got a Master in Applied Maths also at University of Chile.


My main line of research is distributed computing, where I like to explore fundamental problems of the area, as well applications and crossover with different areas, such as graph theory, cryptography, blockchain, network problems and computational complexity in general.

Hobbies

Beyond academia, I have a lot of hobbies. The first one is football in general, where I am a big Colo Colo fan. Also, I love to read and play chess. You can find some part of these hobbies in the "Beyond academia" section.
