## Overview
BizTrackr ("we," "our," "us") provides sales, estimates, invoices, and expense tracking for teams. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
## Scope
This policy applies to the BizTrackr mobile app and related services.
## Information We Collect
- **Account and workspace data:** name, email, company/workspace membership, roles/permissions. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth; we do not store passwords.
- **Customer and job data you enter:** customer names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, notes, job details, and scheduling information.
- **Business records and content:** sales, expenses, estimates, invoices, activity logs, reports, and other data you create in the app.
- **Files and media (optional):** receipts, photos, company logo, and other images you upload (camera or gallery). Stored in Firebase Storage.
- **Device and notification data:** device tokens and related identifiers used to deliver push notifications.
- **Purchase data:** subscription status and transaction identifiers from Apple/Google. We do not collect or store full payment card details.
- **Support communications:** information you provide when contacting support.
## How We Use Information
- Provide the service (authentication, syncing, dashboards, reports).
- Create and manage estimates, invoices, expenses, and related documents.
- Send notifications and service messages.
- Process subscriptions and billing status.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and provide support.
- Comply with legal obligations.
## Sharing and Disclosure
- **Within your workspace:** your data is visible to authorized members of your company/workspace based on roles.
- **Service providers:** Firebase/Google Cloud (Auth, Firestore, Storage), Apple/Google (in-app purchases), and other providers that support app functionality.
- **Email delivery:** if you choose to send an invoice/estimate by email, the email content is handled by the email provider you use.
- **Legal and safety:** when required by law or to protect our users, rights, or the service.
- **Business transfers:** in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
- We do **not** sell personal information.
## Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
If you are in the EEA/UK, we process data based on: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (security and product improvement), consent (where required), and legal obligations.
## Data Retention
We keep data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. When you delete data or request account deletion, we remove it from active systems, though some data may remain in backups for a limited period or as required by law.
## Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data (including encryption in transit and at rest as provided by our service providers). No system is 100% secure.
## Your Choices and Rights
- **Access/update/delete:** you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
- **Notifications:** you can control push notifications in your device settings.
- **Marketing:** if we send marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time.
- **EEA/UK rights:** access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability.
- **California rights:** you may request access or deletion of personal information and have the right to opt out of "sale" (we do not sell personal information).
## International Transfers
Data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. We rely on their safeguards for international transfers where applicable.
## Children's Privacy
BizTrackr is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
## Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted in-app or by email.
