Information We Collect

BizStack may collect the following information:

• Account information, such as name, email address, and login details

• Business information, such as business name, category, branches, address, phone number, tax details, and currency

• Customer, employee, invoice, expense, income, payroll, booking, vehicle, rental, document, and report data entered by users

• Uploaded files, such as receipts, invoices, contracts, employee documents, vehicle documents, and business documents

• Technical information, such as device type, app version, error logs, and basic usage information

• Support messages submitted through the contact or help section

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and manage user accounts

• Provide business management features

• Store and display business records

• Generate dashboards, reports, reminders, and notifications

• Support document upload, scan, and extraction features

• Provide customer support

• Improve app reliability, security, and performance

• Protect against misuse, fraud, or unauthorized access

AI and OCR Features

We revised the app to show an in-app permission dialog before any AI or OCR request is sent. The dialog explains what data may be sent, who receives it, and why it is sent. It identifies BizStack secure backend services, Supabase Edge Functions, OpenAI API for AI processing, and OCR.space when OCR extraction is used. Users can cancel, and no AI/OCR request is sent without permission.

We also updated the in-app Privacy Policy to describe the data collected, how it is collected, how it is used, and the third-party AI/OCR providers involved.

Third-Party Services

BizStack may use trusted third-party services to operate the app, including:

• Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend functions

• OpenAI or AI service providers for AI-assisted features where enabled

• OCR providers for document text extraction where enabled

• Stripe for payment or onboarding features if enabled in a future version

• Email providers for support messages and service communication

These providers may process data only as needed to provide the app features.

Payments and Subscriptions

BizStack is currently provided as a free app. Paid subscriptions and Stripe payment collection are not active in this version.

If payment features are introduced later, payment processing will be handled by secure third-party payment providers. BizStack will not store full card details inside the app.

Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. Data may be stored in secure cloud systems and protected by authentication, access controls, and database security rules.

No system is completely secure, so users should keep their login details safe and only invite trusted team members to their business workspace.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

We may share data only when necessary to:

• Provide app functionality

• Work with trusted service providers

• Comply with legal obligations

• Protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the app

Data Retention

We keep data for as long as needed to provide BizStack services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records.
