Privacy Policy for BizSpeak AI

BizSpeak AI (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides AI-powered business English speaking practice.
Information we collect
Audio data: When you use speaking features, your voice recordings may be processed to provide speech transcription and conversation.
Other user content: Text you type or generate during lessons, role-plays, email practice, and chat.
Learning progress: The app stores learning progress on your device (for example level, streak, completed activities, language and industry preferences). If you are signed in, this progress may also be stored on our servers so it can sync across devices.
Account: If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email (or Apple’s Hide My Email address).
How we use information
We use this data to:
- Provide app functionality (speech-to-text, AI conversation, feedback, and text-to-speech)
- Save and sync progress when you are signed in
- Enforce free-tier usage limits and provide BizSpeak Pro
- Improve reliability and performance of core features
- Support and troubleshoot service issues
Signing in
You can open the app and browse Lessons, Immersive, and Profile without an account.
Sign in with Apple is required to start a lesson or Immersive practice, because those features use our AI services. Sign in is also required to subscribe to BizSpeak Pro and to sync progress across devices.
Signing in is not a paid upgrade. After you sign in, free lessons and the free Immersive allowance still apply. You can upgrade later if you want.
Payments
Subscriptions are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. We use RevenueCat to check whether BizSpeak Pro is active. We do not receive your full card number. Apple’s privacy policy also applies to payments.
Third-party service providers
To provide core functionality, BizSpeak AI may send relevant data to service providers, including:
- OpenAI (AI conversation and/or speech processing)
- Microsoft Azure Speech Services (text-to-speech and speech services)
- Apple (Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchase)
- RevenueCat (subscription status)
- Our backend hosting providers, where applicable
These providers process data according to their own privacy terms.
Tracking and advertising
BizSpeak AI does not use your audio or user content for third-party advertising tracking.
Data retention
We retain data only as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Progress stored on your device remains until you delete the app or delete your account. Cloud account data is deleted when you delete your account, as described below.
Your choices
You can browse the app without signing in. Practice features require Sign in with Apple.
You can choose not to grant microphone permission, but speaking features may not work.
You can stop using voice features at any time.
You can use Hide My Email when you sign in with Apple.
**How to delete your account and data**
In the app, go to Profile → Account → Delete account. This deletes your BizSpeak account and learning progress on our servers and this device.
Apple subscriptions are billed by Apple. Cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions if you do not want further charges.
