Recognizing the oppression faced by marginalized communities around the world, at the age of twentySachdeva founded her not-for-profit organization, Articulate Initiative, in 2020 to raise awareness of the issues. The organization works to highlight artists from marginalized communities while tackling the inequality and under-resourcing that they face. Shelters across Canada are also directly supported by Articulate, hosting hygiene drives and other events(Alberta Council for Global Cooperation, 2022). Sachdeva's Articulate Youth Activism is another initiative designed to promote youth activism by supporting artists from marginalized communities in Calgary to explore writing, public speaking and journalism opportunities(Amer, 2020). Bhanvi Sachdeva was recognized by RBC Future Launch of Future Leaders in 2021 as one of "five exceptional young women, between 15 and 29 years old, who are transforming their communities through innovation, collaboration and courage." (Financial Post, 2021). She is listed by the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation as one of the Top 30 Under 30(Alberta Council for Global Cooperation, 2022), while The Times of India credits her as being a woman "of Indian origin in Canada’s '100 most powerful' list."(Duttagupta, 2021).

Youth Activist
Bhanvi is a young woman who was born in India and raised in Canada. At a young age, she became aware of the impacts of gender inequality, intersectionality, and the absence of representation on the aspirations of young girls. She is passionate about the need to combat gender inequalities and to address poverty, lack of resources and access to education, having witnessed these challenges first-hand. Whilst recognising that she is fortunate to live in a developed nation with vast resources and opportunities, Sachdeva strives to narrow the gender gap and be a role model to young girls inspiring activism(Alberta Council for Global Cooperation, 2022).
