Welcome to my homepage!

I am an experimental inorganic chemist interested in bio-inspired sustainable catalysis. Currently, I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota where I am working as a postdoctoral associate with Prof. Lawrence Que, Jr. at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

Previously, I worked as a short-term Research Associate with Prof. Rahul Banerjee at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Kolkata, India soon after completion of my Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Prof. Sayam Sen Gupta from the same institute. My doctoral study was mainly focused on bio-inspired iron-catalyzed selective photochemical, electrochemical, and aerial oxidation reactions of unactivated C-H bonds of alkanes and C=C bonds of alkenes involving a high-valent iron(V)-oxo intermediate.

In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and cooking. I also love to spend time with Mother Nature whenever possible.
