Dr. Eduardo M. Bittar - Principal Investigator
Bachelor's in Materials Engineering at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) (2003), M.Sc. (2006), and Ph.D. (2010) in Physics at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), partially completed at the University of California, Irvine. He did his postdoc at the Laboratório Nacional de Luz Síncrotron (LNLS) (2010-2012). He is currently a researcher at the Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas (CBPF). Has experience in Physics, focusing on condensed matter physics, working on intermetallic and oxide materials that exhibit strong electric correlation, magnetism, superconductivity, and quantum criticality phenomena.

Allan Ribeiro Castells Gonzaga - PhD student
Allan joined the GFM group in August 2019 as an undergrad. His current work is studying superconducting and charge density wave states under uniaxial strain in intermetallic single-crystalline compounds.
