HISTORY
BITM SUSTAINA SUSTAINABLE SDG Group is a dedicated initiative focused on promoting the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through various sustainability-driven activities and technical solutions.
The initiative was spearheaded by Mrs. Nilam Chedda and Dr. V Veena, who took the lead in establishing an Eco Club aimed at fostering sustainability throughout the BITM campus. Their proposal was presented to the Principal of BITM, who recognized its significance and officially approved it.
To encourage student participation, registrations for the club were conducted via a Google Form. The club’s name, "BITM SUSTAINA," was suggested by Prutivi Raj, and the official logo was designed by Tushar.
The first President of the Club is Mr. Sanjay P S, who plays a key role in leading and organizing various initiatives.
